On October 22, 2007, CEES and the Rocky Mountain Institute presented “Breakthroughs in Vehicle Technology: The Revolution is On!”
In recent years there have been dramatic advances in many related high-tech fields: materials, microelectronics, motors, electricity-storage devices, fuel cells, and tires—to name a few. Putting these advances together in the right way and in the right amount can lead to automobiles and long-haul trucks that are radically more fuel efficient, safer, more comfortable, and just plain fun.
